Death is indeed natural. To bring comfort to your fear of your final departure look upon it as an adventure; supposing there is something there; if not, then you'll feel nothing, it'll just be a long dreamless sleep.

Some people say death is the only thing we can be sure of attaining on our own. It's a very personal thing death. Some are afraid of dying alone, because when they come to think about it they can't die any other way - you go out on your own or do you?

Witches, for the most part, believe that we are much more than the physical body. We are spiritually immortal by design - an immortal energy. It is the basic fabric of who we are. The universe is infinite. And because we are part of the universe, and embody the universe within, we, too, are infinite. Witches believe that the spirit continues with the rest of the infinite universe. We may change and become something quite different in form, but we continue.

I understand every living thing in their earthly form has an expiry date. What haunts me is how my friend died. I truly needed to know my friend was okay. On the Friday morning after he passed at 6:30am I stood outside and cried out for him to appear. My heart believes the closest orb is my friend and the one further back his guide.

Totems - tree, animal, ancestor

According to Druidic doctrine, we have an attraction to a specific tree, animal or ancestor. These totems are already part of our being.

TOTEMS - a type of plant, animal or object chosen and treated with superstitious respect as the symbol of an intimate and mysterious relationship.

I have an attraction to oak trees, wolves and my grandfathers. In my childhood, in the farmyard near the big barn grew the strong spread of oak ansd maple trees. I would climb as close as possible to the highest boughs pointed to the sky with a canopy of green above me and sit for hours with my imagination.

In my later years a spell which involved an oak tree and acorns introduced me to the Druidic Tradition.

My Dad's dad owned a German Shepherd dog named Duke, that resemble a Timber wolf. The wolf perhaps the most feared in terms of superstition because back in the day they were feared for attacking wild, domestic animals and humans alike. Humans are high on the food chain. It is our responsibility for prevention of waste of human's physical environment, including wildlife, timber, fertile topsoil, and pasture according to the Conservation of Natural Resources. We need to find the compromise to co-habitat. We need to be fair.

As far back as I can remember I've been fascinated by the sharp, yellow intense stare of the wolf. It's amazing the eyes speak without the wolf saying word.

When I open the book of my memories to the good times I've experienced the Sunday visits at my mother's parents farm in the peace of the countryside always warms my heart. My uncle and his family owned garden centre were just a few steps away. Back then family life was strong, simple and modest. It was all about parents and their children and the country way. When I was a small child during the warm summer days surrounded by the haunts of birds, other wild creatures, domestic animals, large trees and sculptured landscapes my brothers, sisters, cousins and I played.

The image of coffee brewed and the older generation sharing knowledge with the younger generation around my grandparent's kitchen table was a familiar sight. My uncles would come and go discussing livestock, planting, harvest or equipment that needed repair. My grandmother, mother and aunts spoke of our lifestyle. At the head of the table sat my granddad.

My granddad was an elderly man who had endured a hard life when he died. As a young girl I attended his funeral. His dying brought out many people. It was a sad
day. Sorrow was shared.

The special bond between tree - oak, animal - wolf, and ancestor - grandfathers have their roots that go deep into my personal history.

The reason I believe this likeness in the smoke is that of my mother's father is because of the widow's peak (hair style), nose and strong chin.

Does It Exist?

I watched the show My Ghost Story on Bio. Most guests on the show telling their stories spoke of fearful tales. In the last fifteen minutes of the program an older gentleman told of his experiences with the unseen on his property. He had a fuzzy snapshot of a little girl skipping across the lawn. He believed she is the young girl who died in the house when she stepped too close to a fire and she and her dress went up in flames. Also he has a picture of a woman dressed in period wear walking the grounds.

Like me, he isn't afraid of what he sees. He believes as I do - ghosts and spirits have the power to come and go. A ghost feels entitled to the place they dwell or visit to bring peace to family and friends in solving their earthly demise. They like to hang out at the places and close to the people who made them happiest. Spirits are around us to protect and guide.

Ghost is a general term which refers to the visible spirit of a former person. Spirits is the term used for souls of the dead, whether active or not.

Most people are afraid of the unseen. They are more afraid of what they don't understand than the entities themselves.

The "occult" science is that branch of learning, searching for things not yet known to all - the hidden facts of life. Rather than being a word to be shunned occult is a word that attracts the thinking. Our spiritual nature cries out that we seek the things we don't understand. (Mysterious secrets give wisdom to the wise, but entangle the minds of fools)

I am a Canadian writer, practicing Witch and Spiritualist who also divines with Tarot and ordinary playing cards. The cards, as well as messages from Spirit assist to connect to the information I need for myself and hopefully inspire others. My only desire is to share with you what works for me.

Witchcraft and Spiritualism gave me a chance to take my life in a whole new direction. Remarkable improvement took place in my life. I enjoy life more and that is a good thing. My family is important to me. I have only a few friends, but they’re very loyal. There might be a slight setback, but the overall results are positive.

Doing the right thing, patience spurred on by ambition, makes life easy for me. I live my life surrounded by people who care about my well-being while doing the things I like to do. (Positive responses one takes attracts positive results)

Because I couldn't understand or accept all the injustices around me I became an angry and fractured soul. Once I embraced a Higher Power and started talking I disposed the problems ( problems are a necessary stage to purification). (We all want to be loved - We all want to be heard)

Life isn't perfect. Life can be really unfair. We all suffer a run of bad luck or illness. Slowly and gradually life will change for the better. Most problems will dissipate into thin air. The bad times fade. It takes courage to make the changes in your life to claim your life. Sometimes we need help and support to do the right thing - kindness - disposed or mutual understanding to do good to others (In ye harm none do as ye will).

When I pray I speak out loud in a polite and respectful manner to my Spirit Guide and Grandfather. As I apply my own natural talent and effort as well as positive invisible forces supporting my destiny, heaven-sent people, new places, and unique opportunities appear like never before. I'm not pushed or agitated by the whims of others for a long period of time.

No matter ones faith, when we pray do we not expect to be heard?

It can be hard to believe the photos I post are what they are. I can't give you a rational explanation. Some things are not meant to understand. - defies logical explanation. I have nothing to fear. The snapshots are not illusions. They are beyond imagination - they are reality. They allow me to know I am on the right track and and give me the courage to continue in my quest for what is right.

When we demand too much certainty in life, and ask for too many guarantees, we only frustrate ourselves and waste an immense amount of our energy.

When, however, we are able to live without certainty, comfortable with the paradoxes of life, answers have a way of arriving in their own time. In order to be at ease with the rhythms of existence, we need a sense of curiosity and wonder. We need to be able to face the insecurities of life with an eternal question in our heart, rather than a constant demand for concrete answers. Being comfortable with not knowing is as necessary to learning process as an empty mouth is to feeding.

A frog is a lunar symbol. In Egypt, the four male creator God all had frogs' heads. They were a symbol of regeneration and perhaps a symbol of Hecate in ner animal form. It is a symbol of life and creator, potential life, health and strength. (Hecate - Greek is the Goddess of dark places, often associated with ghosts and sorcery and worshipped with offerings at crossroads. Identified as queen of the witches in the modern day, she is frequently identified with Artemis and Selene; her name means 'the distant one'.

White Woman - Fairy

Psychic Phenomena -- manifestation of the existence of spirits, ghost or anything which is extraordinary to the physical world.

WHITE WOMAN: (see Fairy)

Witte wieven literally means white women today, but "wise women" in dialects of the Low Saxon language of the Netherlands. The word witte in Dutch means white. Wit or witte meant "witty" or "wise", from the root word "weten" which means "to know." The word for wisdom was wijsheid. Witte wieven is often translated to be "white woman" (sources differ) as the words come from the same roots. The association of wise women with the color white was either an accidental translation error, or a symbolic color association for wisdom (sources differ).

Historically, the witte wieven are thought to be wise women, herbalists and medicine healers who took care of people's physical and mental ailments (wala in OHG). It was said they had the talent for prophecy and looking into the future. They had a high status in the communities, and so when they died ceremonies were held at their grave sites to honour them.

According to mythology, their spirits remained on earth, and they became living spirits (or elven beings) that either helped or hindered people who encountered them. They tended to reside in the burial sites or other sacred places. It was thought that mist on a gravehill was the spirit of the wise woman appearing, and people would bring them offerings and ask for help.

While many scholars believe Witte Wieven originated as above from honoring graves of wise women, others think the mythology of witte wieven come from part of the Germanic belief in disen, land wights, and/or alven (Old Dutch for "elf") for several reasons: The practice of bringing offerings and asking for help from their graves is very similar to honoring disen, land wights and alfen in Germanic paganism. In addition, in some localities the mythological witte wieven were described directly as "Alfen" or "Alven".

Jacob Grimm mentioned them in the Deutsche Mythologie (1835) as the Dutch variant of the Germanic weisse frauen: "The people of Friesland, Drenthe and the Netherlands have just as much to tell of their written wijven or juffers in hills and caverns ... though here they get mixed up with elvish personages."[1]

To pretend that unnatural phenomena did not exist in the past, and do not occur with similar regularity today, is to deny historical fact and precedent. It denies children some of their rightful heritage. And, equally imporant, it also cast doubt upon the integrity of great many Canadians who have encountered manifestations.

Spirits and Ghost do exist - and we would be wise recognize this fact and to learn all that we can about the phenomena.

The June 19, 1972 edition of Time magazine summed up the hope for the future very well. It stated, "Perhaps, eventually, religion, science and magic could come mutually to respect and supplement one another. This is a fond vision, and one that is pinned to a fragile and perpetually unprovable faith; that the universe itself is a whole with purpose and promise beneath the mystery."

Power Animal or Totem Conjuration

On July 16, 2011, wearing black so that I would be difficult to notice, in an appropriate spot "within the confines of a remote location - high upon a hill " I sat quietly for a while with a white candle and tobacco before me. The night was clear and warm. By the light of the full moon, completely relaxed, I lit the wick, and then said -

I conjure thee, Spirit by the great living Sovereign Creator of all things, to appear under a comely form, without terror. I conjure thee by the virtue of all that is Holy and Sacred.

Around midnight I couldn't be more delighted to view in the tobacco smoke a bear. Bears are silent, swift and very protective of family.

Animals are used as spirit guides quite often or signs which must be paid attention to. Certain animals can be an indication what it is that we need to focus on in our personal healing at that moment in time. To see wild animals during spirit conjurations is generally a good omen pertaining to business, but the interpretation depends on their attitude; if they are calm your affairs will prosper, but if attacking, you can expect some reverses.

The summit of the Bear's power is in the spring and summer. S\he roused from inaction to become fully aware (conscious). The bear remains in a state of inactivity in the cold months, thus has come to represent introspection. This is the time to go within (hibernate) to examine experiences and emerge with answers. We contain within ourselves the answers to all our questions.

The bear teaches us to go within, and access the subconscious in order to blend intuition and instincts leading to attaining personal power. Your body often knows the truth before the mind does. Like the bear you have an inner sense. Your instinctive body response senses danger, pleasure and hope. It knows when to exercise caution, restraint, abandon, frivolity, grace, cunning. The Bear's lesson is to listen with your whole body.

Celtic Symbolism of Bear - a creature of dreams, astral travel, visionaries, mystics and shamans. The person of bear power animal or totem has a determined ally in spiritual work, loyal and utterly dependable. When you have a Bear Spirit, you are being guided to a leadership role. You must be fearless in defending your beliefs.

Change is the death of an old situation (experience) and the birth of a new one. Change is the essence of life. Everything changes, and choice decides the outcome. When change is forced on us sometimes we can be pushed to the limits. Our emotions have the power to hamper progress. It can take time for the logical mind to wrap around what is taking place. So many thoughts surround what has, is and might happen to accept change.

Today if I do nothing else I embrace change. What's done is done and I handled the situation the best I could. I can't change what has happened but vow to choose never to react that way again for I've experienced an outcome I didn't desire.

June 15, 2011 I sat on a willow tree stump gazing at the Full Moon. I was feeling a lot of different emotions trying to adjust to changes in my life. I asked my Spirit Guide for assistance. I offer tobacco smoke to Spirit so they can manipulate the substance to appear or give symbols to open the subconscious. Symbols are psychological tools of discovery. Each holds hidden meanings to open the subconscious. The tool is used for exploration to trigger the mind to release hidden thoughts to discover a solution or answer sought.

The unseen do convey answers.

A male's face appeared with the letter "M" close by and very clear. A face generally means a friend. Strong and upright reveals a man-reliable, helpful and loyal, a visitor coming soon. The initial "M" nearby revealed who. I was pleased to know positive forces are entering the situation.

You can do this divination for yourself because each person's intuition and magnetism (the power of attraction, the ability to attract or charm) will enable you to pick out the images that have meaning.

Interpret the shapes as symbols of what's coming to you in the near future. When reading the symbols remember that the more definite the symbols are the more quickly, as a rule, things will happen.

The Magic Circle -

There are positive and negative energies in all of us. I like to believe there is more positive intent in people than those who would cause havoc. In the Spirit world there are also positive and negative enties. Invisible beings who want the best for humans and those who want to manipulate and control.

A magic circle is never ending, never undone. A circle has no beginning and no end, a powerful symbol of eternity.

In witchcraft, designing a circle, a wise woman creates a temple to summon, contain, and direct energies in a safe space from harm. It is wise to draw a circle, which has the power to banish evil spirits. The ring is often used for luck and protection.

Physical objects like thirteen stones, flowers petals, feathers, leaves and more may be used. Athame is a wise woman's ritual knife. It is usually has a double-edged blade and a black handle. The athame is used to direct personal power during ritual working. The knife is not used for actual physical cutting.

To create a circle with an athame stand facing east and keep feet inside the intended ring. Hold the athame in your left hand at waist level and stretch your arm out from your body piercing the air. Begin to walk clockwise and imagine your positive energy flowing out of your body and the tip of the blade to create an image of a circle.

Once the circle is cast, sit or stand to meet your Spirit Guide and connect to the web of invisible energies with magic you preform.

Everything in the universe is made up of light energy, always moving at its own pace. Energy flows like radar beams. Inside the circle the ritual you perform allows your want or need to connect with a beam to attract an opportunity for you to achieve a goal.

The energy of the mind is the same energy that charges the universe. How many times did you think of someone or think you needed something and it appeared. We all have the ability to channel and direct energy flow through out mind and body.

To close the circle, depart in peace with your Spirit Guide. Spirit never really leaves your side. The energy is more connected when you are inside the circle.

Stand facing east and pierce the athame into the circle to draw the energy back into your body. This time walk widdershins, anti-clockwise motion, imagining the energy flowing into the tip of the blade, your hand, racing up your arm, to disperse inside your frame.

Salt of the Earth -

Salt is pure in its whiteness, long linked to life and health. In neo-Pagan Witchcraft, salt is used as an agent of purification, to ward off negative influences. Salt represents the element earth and is a staple in magic and worship.

Salt is vital to the maintenance of life and, in the eyes of former generations, apparently magical in its properties of food preservation and evaporation, salt has been highly valued for centuries.

Salt is reputed to have considerable power as a protective against evil influences. According to time-honoured superstition, salt had considerable potency as a defence against evil spirits and was loathed by them because of its association with holiness. If salt was spilled this was considered almost blasphemous and likely to attract the attention of negative energies. Tossing a pinch of the spilled salt over the left shoulder, however, was reputed to drive away the malevolent energies.

An utter of a curse against a person - one defence was to hurl after them a handful of salt, which would negate the effects of any ill-wishing.

Bathing a newborn children in salty water was recommended as a sure way to protect them from negative entities.

The moon makes thirteen trips around Earth during the course of a year. A witch's ritual occurring on the full moon is known as Esbat. It is a prime time for the most Spiritual World Access.

During the Wolf Moon on January 18, 2011 lunar energies were reaching a peak. This was the appropriate lunar phase for communication with Spirit and divination. My friend and I bundled in warm clothing on this quiet night walked slowly down the hill as the winter snow was falling, the winds were peaceful, the temperature dipping way below zero under the full moon as we talked about our lives.

We stopped halfway up to the top of the hill. I removed from my coat pocket the digital camera I brought. Beside me, my friend took the photographs. During the photography session I spoke to Spirit as I offered tobacco smoke.

All was calm as I said, "I so wish to commune with Spirit, my adviser for special wisdom. Spirit Guide, hear my call, on this most magical night. If it is your will release to me that which you want me to know."

When all was said and done I checked each picture frame for insight into my life.

A supernatural act occurred. I was informed of an event that may occur in my life. I focused on the image of a baby a symbol for fortunate through the help of friends. I determined the good omen to be either a real baby is on the way, or the birth of a new business or home.

Some will agree and some will disagree. Decide for yourself what it is or what it isn't in the picture and the symbolic meaning.

We pray and honour Nature Spirits, Spirit Guides, the Sun and the Moon to ask for blessings for important endeavors. Ancestral Spirits keep a close watch on their descendants. Spirits make contact with human beings to help work out their destinies.

Our spirit helpers are normally invisible. They are with us to protect and guide. We are given positive and negative choices (opportunities) in life to experience. Free-will decides our outcome.

Most people who know me are aware I offer tobacco smoke to Spirits so they can manipulate the substance to appear or give symbols to open the subconscious. Symbols are psychological tools of discovery. Each holds hidden meanings to open the subconscious. The tool is used for exploration to trigger the mind to release hidden thoughts to discover a solution or answer sought.

On New Year's Eve I went for a walk, offered tobacco smoke and took a few pictures. I see a calf's head in the first picture. Living on a farm and walking in the hay field I am not surprised to see a calf's head. In the second a buck with large antlers and below that a man with a beard.

Summer is almost at the point where the season is merely a memory. During the Autumn months the temperatures are trying to cool while the wind sweeps the leaves trying to change color as it moves the treetops. Autumn is the balance between summer's light and winter's dark. The season approaching is one that draws us inward and makes us reflective.

To Witches October 31st is more than trick or treating.

Know as Samhain (sow-een) to the ancient Celts, is the day on which the Celtic New Year and Winter begins. Samhain is the end of one year and the beginning of the next. A time for change, and a time to look to the future. It is the perfect moment to be in touch with Spirit Guides and vision of the way you want you life. The veil between the worlds of the living and the dead is at its thinnest point of the year making communication easier.

To prepare for the ritual bathe in salt to purify the mind, body, heart and soul. Dressed, slip in your pocket a picture of the person you will request to speak with or your Spirit Guide. Indoors or out the summoning of spirit is carried out in dawn or dusk in the glow of flickering lights of candles.

A secluded place is necessary, free from interruption, and then the magical circle is drawn out. The reason for this is to avoidance of contamination from unfriendly spirits.

Pause before you say what's on your mind. Focus on the lit candle wick and slowly breathe in and out to connect with the ebb and flow of the universe.

The universe is comprised of an invisible energy which is synchronized and flows without static. Interlaced threads move from side to side, intersect, sends out ripples and generate a current. Energy swirls around and around in its own inevitable rhythm of waves or vibrations on a vast range of different frequencies. The magical energy is, above and below heaven and earth, and inhabits all living and non-living things. The endless energies can be tapped into.

Acknowledge what you have already been given. You have many blessings to be thankful for. If you woke this morning with a healthy body you are blessed. Some people didn't while others didn't wake at all.

Say aloud:

I am thankful for the wonderful things in my life. I am grateful for all those mundane bounties that can be taken for granted which makes my life more stable - a home, heat, hydro, resources to pay bills and food in the fridge. I appreciate my family and friends cooperation to make my life more peaceful; for mutual consideration and respect.

I pray that peace be with my fellow citizens of my community, my country and the world at large.

Call out to your Spirit Guide bidding to appear.

Spirit Guide who intervenes in my life with guidance and sympathy please come hither.

I am never afraid of what I know - participate in the process of learning and teaching, to fulfil my potential through constructive productivity and whatever state I am in, to be content.

For a variety of reasons, people who have died visit the earthly plane. I don't believe they cut ties or release their attachments to the people they love and care for. If you believe communication with the dead or spirit, it is possible.

In Memory of...

My freedom-loving friend Rob invited me to visit his hide away out in the country. A one room building out in the country just on the fringe of the woods and growing fields to take pictures for my websites.

On this cool evening we arrived at our destination around 5:30pm. After leaving the building we entered outside to a meeting circle which lies behind the dwelling. Rob raked the dried colorful leaves into the fire pit, lit the fire, and collected some wood to keep it burning.

Before darkness set in he decided to take down the erected tent close by. As he preformed the task he told me of his friend Dave. He died this past July.

The two good friends spent the weekends in the Spring, Summer, Fall for two years clearing a bit of land while building Rob's hide away. They installed stairs leading to a front porch and two large storm windows. Inside the wood floor, a small kitchen, sitting area with a workable wood stove and a handcrafted cedar ladder that leads to a loft for sleeping.

The existing timber frame custom built home on the small acreage offers peace, quite and comfortable living conditions.

Building his hide away gave him one of his most rewarding experiences. Rob's friend Dave had worked closely with him to make the construction process go smoothly. He said he's never been happier then when he had his friend spent time working and laughing together side-by-side.

At the end of the story as I helped him fold the tent he told me he plans to pitch the tent in the coming years in the early spring in his friends memory. I agreed his friend would appreciate the gesture.

Time came to take the pictures we came for. Rob grabbed the camera. I sat by the crackling fire. I asked out loud if it is Dave's will to appear on film please do. A few seconds later Rob snapped two pictures. He brought the camera for me to see what appeared in the frames.

In the first photo a luminous entity made itself visible floating beside me.

In the second picture we saw hovering above me the sight of dense gray smoke. (Neither of us were smoking cigarettes at the time)

We are pleased and excited to think his friend appeared. We like to believe Dave returned to a place he loved during his life.

Indian rituals, ceremonies, and religious observances, tobacco is the unifying thread of communication between humans and the spiritual powers. The spirits are said to be extremely fond of tobacco and that the only way they could get it was from the Indians, either by smoke from a pipe or by offerings of dry tobacco.

Tobacco was placed at graves as an offering to the departed spirit. Requests to elders to relate oral traditions or other special knowledge were accompanied with a gift.

"Tobacco is in the east on the medicine wheel and has the quality of communication with Spirit. Tobacco smoke is visible breath that takes prayers to the Great Spirit. Tobacco also has the quality of connecting people with each other and bringing peace.

Tobacco offered directly or as smoke allows for communication with the spirit. As a Mesquakie told a student seeking to understand Native American culture: 'We use it (tobacco) in ceremonies; we put it in the fire, and then we can talk to the spirits.

Secondary methods involve those making the offering to bring the tobacco smoke into themselves and then blow it towards the spiritual recipient. The sharing of the smoke between the one making the offering and the spirit receiving it creates communion between the two. The sacred smoke may also be spread over oneself or over objects and persons as a blessing."

My parents live nearby. We communicate every day. On this day our visit went as many others. When I was ready to leave my mom asked if I would bring her the laundry from the basement. I went downstairs and ended up in the recreation room.

I glanced at the black frame mirror that hung above the couch. I had a strong desire to take it. Being my mother's daughter, I knew I needed to ask for permission.

I approached my mom; forgetting the clothes she requested. I expressed my want for her mirror.

"Certainly," she replied, "but would you first bring me up the clothes?"

I thanked my mom, and did as she wanted. I brought the mirror home and promptly hung it on the wall. I couldn't resit, I had to take a picture. Above the flash, I see there is a person's face.

On a clear night I sensed a presence beside me and took a photograph. Clearly seen in the tobacco smoke something materialized.

This could be one of any of a wide range of lesser intermediary spirits between their world and the physical world.

Demons play no role in neo-Pagan Witchcraft.

Demon is derived from the Greek term daimon, or divine power, fate, or god.

Daimons were intermediary spirits between man and the gods. A guardian daimons shared advice and ideas. It was considered lucky to have one for guidance and protection.

Ghost-busting

I saw my first episode of Ghost Lab and was less than impressed.

Can you inagine when you are most active someone entering your home with all their gizmos and gadgets and demand their wants- Do this! Do that! Appear and preform for some sort of amusement.

Better yet, command you move away from your residence. I don't believe you'd be too happy.

If you demand something from anyone in the earthly world you'd recieve the same
response - nothing.

I'm not going to argue if Spirits are real. To me it's ridiculeus to deny their existance. There is more than enough documented proof Spirits have appeared over and over in many forms. Spirits are just part of the all mighty universe. Not separate from.

If you are going to so-call Ghost-bust, demanding things from them as if it is your right, my message is to remember your manners and have something worthwhile to say or ask for.

Have a meeting of the minds.

Treat the Spirit you want to see or hear from as on old friend visiting or making first time aquaintance.

Don't be rude when requesting a sight of an appritation. You might be granted a glimpse between the veil of the seen and unseen worlds. A Spirit may whisper the answer sought softly in your ear.

Man's Immortal Soul

None of us can travel too far in life and remain a stranger to death. Death is something we all have to face. The terminal departure causes us pain, and grief that tears us apart.

When we stand at the casket of a loved one who has died, we weep and the heart drowns in the depths of sorrow. The idea that death is absolute end of existence scares many people, because our time together is over, but what if your loved one wasn't really gone forever?

Death is not the end but, rather a passage to the afterlife.

Humans possess an immortal soul is a doctrine shared in many faiths. Almost all people since the beginning of the human race have believed in some form of afterlife. Only in recent times and only in Western countries, have a large number of people maintain death is oblivion.

What if invisible entities capable of surviving the death of the physical
body wander about on their own time line. No more good-byes or
separation for your loved one is close by.

I believe people live, even though they die a physical death. I am a believer in Spirits. I have a definite belief in existence of an afterlife, because I have had experiences involving manifestations. I simply know.

When you are sad, lonely and feeling disconnected from loved ones who have crossed over to the other side simply have a conversation with them. Make time for them in your daily life to bring peace to your grieving heart.

You and you alone are the link between the living and of those the spirit world. Talk to Spirit. Tell your loved one about what you feel is important. Spirit will answer with a personal message so you will know they are near. Close your eyes, picture the person you miss standing before you and say:

"______________, I am lost with out you. Please put your arms around me and hold me in your loving embrace. Whisper to me, let me know your here."

Imagine the contentment that will result when dead loves are included in your life on the earthly plane.

BIRTHDAY CYCLE

Born November 24, I am a Sagittarius-known as the element
Fire. My mother says she could see from her hospital bed

The evolution theory states we are what and where we are as the result of "natural selection," the "selecting" done by an animal force that began with o one-cell protozoan, gradually over million of years evolving to the statue of human.

In the year 1831 a crowd gathered around an English port for a glimpse of the large
sea vessel called the H.M.S. Beagle. With the sails wide open, up high a sailor stands in the crow's nest acting like a lookout for things to come. The course is set for South America and the surrounding Pacific Islands. A young man, Carles Robert Darwin, is aboard working as the ship's naturalist. He is observing plant and animal life in their natural environment. The scientific voyage sailed for five years and young Darwin collected data wherever the ship was put ashore. Charles successfully kept exceptional track of all the samples containing all his observations. returning to England he began to evaluate the information he gathered.

While reviewing his research he became very interested in his finding on the Glapagos, an island located in the eastern pacific. On this rather limited geographic area he found it didn't possess a large number of different animal species. Yet a variety of the ones inhabiting the island, 13 different finches and several more tortoise. His studies took over 20 years before his theory of evolution by natural selection was to take form. This theory would make him famous, a show case for the explanation of how we evolved.

A summarization of Charles Darwin's careful examination:

1. No two organisms of whatever kind, whether animal or plant, natural or domesticated, turn out to be exactly alike. The difference in the inborn characteristics of individual organism, termed variations, are to be taken as a law of nature. Every living thing is unique.

2. Plants and animals produce more offspring than can be provided for. There exist
natural checks to compensate for the overproduction of all living forms and to keep
their numbers with in reasonable bounds.

3. The most effective natural check upon overpopulation is the competion of organisms
for space and food-the struggle for existence. Every living thing goes through trails and tribulations to survive.

4. In the course of this constant competition those organisms possessing variations
that make them especially well adapted to the conditions under which they live have a
decided advantage. The struggle for existence results in the survival of the fittest.

5. The better-adapted organisms that manage to survive transmit the traits that
contributed to their survival to their offspring. Your children are a product of you.

6. The inheritance of traits with high survival values furthers the process of natural selection and may in time give rise to a new species.

Circle Sanctuary provides Counseling help for Pagans stressed by the Fort Hood Tragedy A team of Pagan spiritual counselors has been formed by Circle Sanctuary to provide free telephone counseling support this month for Pagans, Wiccans, Druids, Heathens, Pantheists, and other Nature religion practitioners distressed by the shootings at Fort Hood in Texas this past Thursday.

Fort Hood is the largest US military installation in the nation. On Thursday afternoon, November 5, an Army psychiatrist stationed at Fort Hood went on a shooting rampage, killing 13 and wounding 30 at the base. This tragedy has shaken and stressed those at Fort Hood and in neighboring areas as well as across the country and at US military installations around the world.

More than 150 Pagans of many paths live in and around Fort Hood. Many are part of the Fort Hood Open Circle, which is sponsored by the Sacred Well Congregation. Some are connected with other groups, and some are solitary practitioners. Circle Sanctuary formed this Pagan counseling support team as part of its services to Wiccans, Druids, and other Pagans in the US Military.

This special response team consists of sixteen Pagan leaders from across the nation who are among those doing various forms of Pagan ministry through Circle Sanctuary. The team is collaborating with other Pagan leaders in the Fort Hood area in providing help.

Circle Sanctuary is offering free Pagan oriented counseling by telephone to supplement grief counseling resources at Fort Hood. Circle Sanctuary's Fort Hood Tragedy response counseling services are for Pagans in and around Fort Hood as well as for Pagans at other US military installations and elsewhere who have been adversely impacted by the Fort Hood shootings.

The counseling work being offered is specific to distress resulting from the Fort Hood shootings and will be offered throughout the month on November.

Witch Of Endor

Saul was afraid of an impending attack by a mighty army of Philistines, who had joined by his rival, David. He gathered the Israelites and camped at Mount Gilboa. He sought advice from prophets and divination by sacred lot and from the Lord, but he received no answer as to his fate or the action he should take. Saul instructed his servants, "Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire to her." His servants directed him to the pythoness at Endor, whose name is never given.

Saul disguised went to the witch the same night. At first, she was frightened that he had come to expose her as a witch: "Behold, thou knowest what Saul has done, how he hath cut off those that have familar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life, to cause me to die?"

Saul assured the woman he meant no harm and instructed her to conjure Samuel from the dead. She did as she was asked. She preformed her ritual. She told Saul that God was displeased with him for his disobedience and had torn his kingdom from his hands and given to David. The next day he would loose his sons and Israel would be given to the Philistines. When what she said came true, Saul took his sword and fell upon it.

Reginal Scot, the 16th century English writer attempted to debunk witchcraft said, the witch played out her incanttions, lied about seeing gods or angels and about seeing the spirit of old Samuel. He believed the witch was a ventriloquist, speaking in a counterfeit hollow voice.

Just who it may have been who thought the word "witch" in connection with the story of King Saul and the woman of Endor, is not known, but whoever it may have been, evidently he did not like psychics.

Extremely unfavorable overtones and undertones attached themselves to the the word "witch." It does not appear in the Bible account of event. The woman Saul consulted is merely described as a "woman," and she was a trance medium.

The word "witch" appears only once in the entire King James Version of the Bible, in a chapter far removed from the Saul story; and in this one case other versions use other terms. One gives it as "sorceress" and one even alters the sex and refers to it as "wizard."

Nowadays many prominent and highly respected persons of both sexes are reconized as psychic sensitives, such as mediums, clairvoyants, psychometrists, ect.

The correct description when speaking of King Saul's dilemma is "the medium of Endor.

A little Halloween history

Halloween orgins date back 2000 years ago to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (prodounced sow-in). Saturday October 31st is the Great Sabbat Samhain and fire festival. Samhain means "end of summer" and is an ancient Celtic festival that celebrates the beginning of winter, marked by death and is considered to be the Witches' New Year.

In the seventh century, Pope Boniface IV designated November 1
All Saints' Day, a time to honour saints and martyrs.

It is believed that the pope was attempting to replace Celtic festival of the dead with a related, but church-sanctioned holiday. The celebration was also called
All-hollowmas or(from Middle English Alholwesse meaning All Saints' Day) and the night before it, the night of Samhain, began to be called All-hallows Eve and, eventually Halloween.

November 1, the Day of the Dead (also celebrated by some on November
2)the dead were thought to return to earth. People would leave food
on the tables for them and for would usually stay indoors.

DICTIONARY:

BANSHEE- Spirit of females who come to announce the death of one of their
own number, who is living. Best known in Ireland. The Banshee is mevelovent
and can cause fear-when her wail is low and sweet, an omen of gentle death
is the interpretation, but when she gives an angry wail, death will be
will be violent or fruesome.

HECATE-The goddess ruler of the under world, the queen of the witches.
She gave birth to the Titans; as Artemis (Diana),a figure of night,
she was feared by the Romans and Greeks.

As Artemis-Diana the Earth,Selena-Luna the Sky,Persephone-Proserpine Hell

She has three faces;in the center, that of a woman;on the right
that of a horse;and on the left, that of a dog. Her images were
often placed at crossroads.

She protects witches and helps to make their philters.

Apple tress that produce blossoms and fruit simultaneously
were one of the features of the Celtic paradise. Avalon, the
paradise to which King Arthur was called, was probably
named after the Welsh word afal. meaning apple. The apple
has always been particularly associated with love and marriage.

Several of the most widely known Halloween's divination
rituals related to apples.

If you want to know the initial of your true loves first name
twist the stalk once for each letter of the alphabet: the stalk
will snap at the right letter.

Place a apple seed representing a potential partner in a hot fire
while saying: 'If you love me, bounce and fly, if you dislike me,
lie and die', and then observing what happens, might produce
the required answer.

If a girl stands before a mirror while eating an apple and combing
her hair at midnight, her future husband's image will be reflected
in the glass over her left shoulder.

At midnight cut an apple into nine pieces, each of which must
be stuck on the point of the knife and held over the left shoulder,
her future husband's image will appear.

Peel an apple in one long piece, and toss the peel over the left shoulder
or into a bowel of water, one will be able to read the first initial of their
future partner's name in the the shape assumed by the discarded peel.

An apple peel hung on a nail by the front door and the initials of the
first man to enter will be the same as those of the unknown lover.

The game of ducking apples: without using their hands, children attempt
to take bites out of apples floating in a bowl of water or suspended on
strings The child is fated to marry the owner of the apple they managed
to bite. The chlidren take their apple to bed and sleeps with the apple under
their pillow so as to receive a vision.

Why Are Spirits Among Us?

Since the beginning of recorded time almost all people have believed in some form of an after life. Primitive hunting bands that roamed earth believed in immortality of the vital spirit. Most intentionally buried their dead with various tools, personal belongings, and offerings suggesting the belief in life after death. The Egyptians may have mummified their dead bodies so their spirit would recognize their earthly bodies and unite with their wealth and position.

The Sumerian civilization, closest to the truth, had an awareness of the partnership with other living things. They prayed and honoured Nature Spirits, Spirit Guides, the Sun and the Moon to ask for blessings for important endeavours-hunting, gardening, pregnancy and warfare. Ancestral Spirits kept a close watch on their descendants. Spirits made contact with human beings to help work out their destinies.

There are a number of views where and what happens to the immortal spirit after physical death. There are too many stories from the ancient people and the sacred text of different faiths to document. I don't know if the after life can be described in earthly terms. I can't remember infancy and most of my childhood. That doesn't mean this stage of my life cycle didn't happen.

Death of the physical body is not the end of all living things. Death is a transition, a change in being. Our commitment with Spirit Guides over time has drifted apart. The bond has been weakened. People have been conditioned to listen more to their sense of reason.

Earth is far from filled with happy and healthy people. Generations of free will has created the state the planet and ourselves are in today. Self interest activities and other serious wrongdoings have thrown life into conditions we experience today.

In an overly critical environment instability is created on every level. People have a lot of unanswered questions. Most are trying to figure out who they are and wondering if this is it. A brief life span with family and a few good friends, a job, a home, and then dying?

More and more people are unhappy living through trials and tribulations to survive. Sometimes good things in life are hard to find. People need hope. In the face of personal problems or difficulties, to make sense of it all, human beings are returning to their spiritual roots.

Human beings have natural need to connect with one another and spirit (higher power).

Mediums from the highest and greater good interpret messages sent straight from spirit. The information given is what is needed to know, not what one wants to know. Spirit will tell what's coming and give insight into the situation; one's free will decides the outcome.

There is no hocus pocus. The mediums have very little to gain, only their reputation to lose.

Everyone can foretell specific events or details aided by spirit. Human beings can communicate with the spirit of departed persons. Spirit is living and is personally interested in our development. Spirits understand completely how everything is created and will provide one with a much bigger picture. Spirit's aim is to bring messages of hope and recovery.

Spirits who roam the earth do not indulge in the whims of those left behind. Spirits are invested in our physical survival. There is a real possibility of our own extinction due to our doings. It is crucial that we change our thoughts and behaviours.
